Former prime minister and chairman of Naya Shakti Nepal, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, is set to visit Dr. Govinda KC at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital today. He is expected to visit at 4 pm. KC is on his eighth hunger strike demanding reforms in the medical sector and impeachment of the chief commissioner of the CIAA, Lokman Singh Karki. KC, who has numerous demands about reforming medical education and the politicization of medical field in Nepal, began his hunger strike on Sunday.
