A bus cleaner in Khandwa city in Madhya Pradesh had slow and agonising death after his neck got stuck between the bus and pole. The incident occurred when the bus, travelling from Khandwa to Mundi, stopped at a corner after seeing traffic on the bridge it was supposed to cross. Sachin, the 32-year-old cleaner, was asked by the driver to stick a brick behind the front tyre to avoid it from rolling backwards while it was stationary.

It was then the brakes of the bus failed and it rolled back. Sachin who was placing the brick behind the tyre got badly stuck by his neck between the front end of the bus and a pole it was parked next to.

Sachin’s loud screams shocked the bus passengers who rushed to see the victim who was spewing blood from his mouth. An eyewitness said that the shocked onlookers were baffled as how to help the stuck man.
